• Media relations consultant of communications for Sports Information Director, Jim Zuhlke. Responsible for coordinating and controlling the media relations efforts for the Division II intercollegiate athletic program. Help promote its 24 NCAA intercollegiate varsity athletic programs as well. 

• Wrote press releases, game recaps, game notes, athlete of the week, and feature stories on student-athletes at West Chester University. Familiarity using Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Stat Crew statistical software. 

• Maintenance of the athletic website: www.wcupagoldenrams.com. 

• Assisting with the production of department publications and media guides. Weekly nominations for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) player of the week in addition to nominating West Chester University student-athletes for the Eastern College Athletic College (ECAC) athlete of the week. 

• Provided assistance as a public address announcer, broadcaster, and a spotter in the booth for athletic events.  In charge of all communication when traveling with the team on the road. 

• Completed setup and breakdown of equipment at events, among other post-game responsibilities. Handled confidential information and updated record books. Assisted media and coaches for sporting events. Other responsibilities includes updating social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).

• Updating spreadsheets for coaches using the NCAA Eligibility Center and PeopleSoft.

• Updating the NCAA Compliance Assistant database.

• Creating monthly newsletters about the NCAA regulations and West Chester University.

• Assisting in NCAA financial and Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA) reports.

• Assisting in coordination of logistics for events such as the Regional Airline Association (RAA) Golf Outing, Quarterback Classic, and Athletics Senior Banquet. 

• Collecting and organizing silent auction items as well as creating creative item bidding sheets for said items.

• Completing financial spreadsheets to provide a breakdown of the dollars generated for each event and in general athletic development.
