Versak Named Corvias ECAC Field Hockey Player of the Week

DANBURY, Conn. – West Chester University junior forward Alexis Versak (Limerick, Pa./Spring-Ford) was named the Corvias Eastern College Athletic Conference Division II field hockey player of week Wednesday afternoon. Versak's hat trick propelled the No. 2 West Chester Golden Rams (5-1, 3-1 PSAC) past Mansfield University by a final score of 6-1, last Wednesday. Her contribution of three goals played a significant role by tallying half of the goals scored in the victory for the Golden Rams. In six games this season, Versak has registered six goals and an assist for a total of 13 points. West Chester travels to Seton Hill University on Saturday to take on the Griffins in another PSAC matchup starting at 11 a.m.
