Eisman Earns Second Collegiate Victory in Lock Haven Invitational
LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Junior Amanda Eisman (West Chester, Pa. / Henderson) captured the title to lead West Chester University women's cross country to a second place finish with 109 points at the Lock Haven invitational on Saturday. Eisman continues to impress as she earned her second collegiate victory, running the 6k race in a time of 21:51. West Virginia University captured the title, while West Chester was the runners up in the event. The Golden Rams were 78 points ahead of third placed Lock Haven University. Leigh Manning Smith (West Chester, Pa. / Henderson) finished in the top 10 with a 7th place finish at 22:35. The next four Golden Rams to finish were Laurel Jones (Chambersburg, Pa. / Chambersburg) at 22nd in 23:24, while her teammate Mallory Drake (Hillsborough, N.J. / Hillsborough) was 27th in 23:31. Alindon Smith (Shippensburg / Big Spring) was 52nd coming across in 24:42. The Golden Rams compete again October 4th for the Paul Short Run at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
