West Chester University Football Climbing in the Polls
WEST CHESTER, Pa. – West Chester University's football team jumped up to 7th in The American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division II Coaches' Poll, following its 55-28 victory over Shippensburg on Saturday. In the Golden Ram win, quarterback Sean McCartney was selected as the PSAC East Offensive Player of The Week for the second time this season. McCartney's contributions helped move West Chester up three spots after being 10th the week prior. No. 7 West Chester travels to No. 8 Bloomsburg University on Saturday, October 25th at 2:00 p.m. for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference showdown as both teams are currently undefeated.
