West Chester Falls in 2 OT, 2-1

GREENSBURG, Pa. – A penalty kick goal in double overtime allowed host Seton Hill to sneak by the Golden Rams (8-6-0, 6-3-0 PSAC), 2-1, in a PSAC matchup Saturday afternoon. West Chester trailed early in the contest as Seton Hill's Ben Alport found the back of the net off of a free kick from 30 yards out at the 6 minute mark. The Golden Rams answered as Tommy Ryan (Newtown Square, Pa./Marple Newtown) setup freshman Tim French (Bensalem, Pa. / Holy Ghost Prep) on a corner kick, allowing French to head the ball in to tie it up at one apiece. The matchup wound up going into double overtime, where Seton Hill's Joe Tchimou recorded the game winning goal off of a penalty kick. Freshman Matt Palmer (Bangor, Pa./Bangor) (7-4) recorded five saves, while giving up two goals in 106 minutes of action for the Golden Rams. Seton Hill's Cameron Evans picked up the win, making two saves and only allowing one goal in the double overtime contest. The Golden Rams will look to bounce back as they return home for a PSAC matchup with California University of Pennsylvania on October 31st at 2:30 p.m.
