Men’s Cross Country Finish 9th at the PSAC Championships

MANSFIELD, Pa. – Men's cross country claimed ninth place out of 16 teams at the PSAC Championships hosted by Mansfield University Saturday morning. The PSAC Championships consisted of 132 runners as West Chester accumulated 256 points. In sequence, the top five runners by West Chester were the best times ever at this course. Leading the way for the Golden Rams was Zack Musselman (Collegeville, Pa./Methacton) finishing 43rd with a final time of 26:19, which was as the best time ever in West Chester history. Two spots behind Musselman was Jake Siegel (Falls, Pa./Tuckhannock) at 26:27, while his teammate Andrew Dombrowiecki (Ocean, N.J./Ocean Twp.) was 54th with 26:53. The next wake of Golden Rams crossing the finish line were James Vadas (Stewartstown, Pa./York Catholic) in 70th at 27:12 and Chris Bucci (Sewell, N.J. / Washington Twp.) placing 71st two seconds later. Finishing up in 101st place was junior Bryson Long (Lititz, Pa. / Warwick) at 28:70 and Adam Farence (Enola, Pa. / Cumberland Valley) claimed 124th in 30:29. The Golden Rams were only a point behind eighth place. Taking the title for the second consecutive year was Lock Haven with 38 points. Head coach Andrew Huber's squad finished two spots higher in the standings, in addition to a 65 point increase from the previous season. Next up for the Golden Rams is the NCAA Atlantic Regional hosted by Slippery Rock University on November 22nd in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania at 10:00 a.m.
