Srolis Named ECAC DII Defensive Player of the Week

DANBURY, Conn. –West Chester University's senior goalkeeper Alex Srolis (Chester Springs, Pa. / Downingtown East) was named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division II defensive player of the week, which was announced by the organization Tuesday afternoon. Srolis notched a pair of wins in net for West Chester, including seven saves in a 1-0 victory over No. 20 Edinboro on Saturday. The shutout victory marks Srolis' 30th career shutout, placing her second in the program's history. In a win against Millersville, she registered four saves for the Golden Rams. Additionally, Srolis has posted 52 career wins, which is two away from tying a program record. Overall, Srolis managed 11 saves to help propel the Golden Rams to an undefeated record (10-0-0, 10-0-0 PSAC). This is the first time this season that Srolis has earned the honor.
