WEST CHESTER, Pa. – West Chester's Julianne Minutillo (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) found of the net for her first goal of the season to lift the Golden Rams past PSAC opponent Slippery Rock, 2-1, in overtime at Rockwell Field Saturday afternoon. No. 5 West Chester (13-0, 13-0 PSAC) trailed the entire match, until four seconds remained on the clock. Freshman Jenny Bail (Carlisle, Pa./Cumberland Valley) found senior captain Kara Parvel (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall) to knot the game up at one apiece, allowing the Golden Rams the opportunity for overtime. Less than four minutes into overtime, Bail setup Minutillo for the game-winner at the 93:46 mark. Bail recorded a pair of assists in the match, accumulating her fourth total point of the week. Senior goalkeeper Alex Srolis (Chester Springs, Pa./Downingtown East) made four saves and allowed one goal in-between the pipes. The win was Srolis' 55th career win in goal for West Chester, breaking the school's all-time mark held by Hilary Smart (2005-08). She has 31 career shutouts, which one shy of the school record of 32 held by Lyndsie Bernardini (2009-10). West Chester held a 25-6 advantage in shots, while also managing a 13-2 edge in corner kicks. Picking up the loss for Slippery Rock in the goal was Kylie Downs, who posted 13 saves and surrendered those pair of goals. The Golden Rams take their undefeated record on the road for a PSAC match with Lock Haven on Wednesday, October 19th at 3:30 p.m.
