Toppi Claims PSAC Athlete of the Week Honors

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -West Chester's junior forward Rachal Toppi (Glassboro, N.J./Glassboro) was named Pennsylvania State Athletic conference athlete of the week for registering three goals in a pair of victories this past weekend. Toppi continues to lead West Chester's offensive attack by tallying a pair of goals to help the Golden Rams knockoff No. 7 Bloomsburg in a PSAC matchup, 2-1, Saturday afternoon. The junior then posted her team-leading 14th goal of the season in a 3-1 victory over one of the top teams in Division III in No.7 Ursinus on Sunday. This marks the first time this season that Toppi has received the honor. Toppi is the second Golden Ram to be nominated in 2016 as senior goalkeeper Sarah Krause received the award earlier in the season.
