Grammer Named PSAC & ECAC DII Athlete of the Week

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Sophomore setter Jillian Grammer (Centre Valley, Pa./Southern Lehigh) was named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Southeastern Division athlete of the week, which was announced by the same organization Tuesday afternoon. Additionally, the sophomore received ECAC Division II volleyball honors as well for her efforts. Grammer accumulated 133 assists, while also providing 38 digs in three matches for the Golden Rams. West Chester's (15-7, 3-6 PSAC) setter has registered back-to-back double-doubles for head coach Kassie Bellaver's squad. As a freshman a season ago, Grammer managed second team All-PSAC East honors. This is the second PSAC and ECAC honor West Chester has earned in 2016 with Karleigh Lutz claiming the nominations earlier this month. Grammer notches her first PSAC and ECAC athlete of the week awards in her young career.
