Polyakov Named Male Athlete of The Week By College Swimming News

SOMERS, Wisc. – West Chester's senior swimmer Victor Polyakov (Taganrog, Russia) was named male swimmer of the week out of the PSAC by College Swimming News, which was announced by that organization Tuesday afternoon. Against host New York University, Polyakov was a triple winner, despite the Golden Rams falling, 190-110, Saturday afternoon. The senior won the 1000-yard freestyle, the 200 free and the 100 free to account for three of the Golden Rams' five first-place finishes on the afternoon. Polyakov's efforts have landed him the PSAC swimmer of the year the last three seasons. However, this is Polyakov's first nomination in his 2016 campaign.
