Wright Earns A Swimming Athlete of The Week From College Swimming

SOMERS, Wisc. – West Chester's freshman swimmer Georgia Wright claimed female swimmer of the week honors out of the PSAC from College Swimming News, which was announced by that organization Tuesday afternoon. Wright was a triple winner for West Chester University's women's swimming & diving squad this weekend. But, host New York University proved to be too much at home in a 181.5-118.5 victory Saturday afternoon. The freshman won the 1000-yard freestyle in 10 minutes, 36.15 seconds while also picking up wins in the 200 backstroke and the 500 free. Her three wins were part of six first-place showings for the Golden Rams. This was the first time in her young career that she earned the honor.
