Men’s Soccer Ends in Scoreless Tie, 2OT

WEST CHESTER, Pa. – After 110 minutes of action, West Chester ended in a scoreless tie against visiting Bloomsburg Saturday afternoon inside Rockwell Field. The Golden Rams (10-3-3, 7-1-2 PSAC) had their opportunities on a very windy afternoon, holding a 20-9 advantage in shots over the Huskies. Of those 20 shots, six of which came in the extra sessions. Michael Benn's squad fired two shots off the post, reflecting how close those shots on goal were in the match. Additionally, the Golden Rams managed to control the game with a 15-2 edge in corner kicks. Sophomore goalkeeper James Wood (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) registered four saves while playing all 110 minutes for West Chester. On the opposing side, Bloomsburg's goalie Jacob Pesarcik posted seven saves while blanking the Golden Rams' attack. West Chester heads to Greensburg, Pennsylvania for their regular-season finale with PSAC opponent Seton Hill next Saturday, October 29th at 2:30 p.m.
