Men’s Basketball Slated Ninth in Latest D2SIDA Atlantic Region Basketball Poll

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – After a thrilling 94-92 victory over Bowie State on Saturday, the Golden Rams find themselves ranked ninth in the most recent D2SIDA Atlantic Region Basketball Poll. The poll was released by that same organization Monday morning. West Chester (3-2, 2-0 PSAC) was ranked in the preseason poll, but fell out after losing back-to-back games to begin the season at the West Liberty Tip-Off Tournament. Now, Damien Blair's squad is riding a three-game winning streak and currently slated ninth after defeating Gannon, Clarion, and Bowie State University inside Hollinger Field House. West Chester begins a five-game road trip, beginning with non-league Bloomfield College tomorrow at 7 p.m.
