Oliver Named PSAC & ECAC Swimmer of the Week for Division II

DANBURY, Conn. – Sr., Michael Oliver (Howell, N.J./Freehold Twp.) received the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Swimmer of the Week award for Division II and the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week after his performance in Friday's meet against the University of Pennsylvania. Oliver captured first place in three events for the Golden Rams, despite the squad falling 163-129 inside Graham Natatorium. The senior took home the top spot in the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke. In the 100-yard breaststroke, he scored a time of 55.94. Afterwards, he earned a 2:01.56 in the 200-yard breaststroke. The New Jersey native also registered first in the 400-yard individual medley at 4:03.17. Lastly, Oliver helped the squad earn runner-up in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:32.69. The honor marks Oliver's third this season and the fourth for West Chester.
