Dombrowiecki & Grunwald Earn All-Academic Honors

NEW ORLEANS, LA- West Chester University's men's cross country team received a trio of All-Academic honors for the 2016 cross country season by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

First, the team was recognized for maintaining a grade point average (GPA) of 3.04 throughout the fall semester in head coach Ryan Comstock's first season.

Aside from the team GPA of 3.04, a pair of Golden Rams earned All-Academic honors. Senior Andrew Dombrowiecki (Ocean, N.J./Ocean Twp.) earned the academic honor for the first time. At the 2016 PSAC Championships, he was the Golden Rams' top finisher, placing 52nd overall.

Sophomore Greg Grunwald (Easton, Pa./Easton) made the list as well for West Chester. This is the second consecutive time that Grunwald has been selected for this honor in his career.
