Men’s Track & Field Competes at the KU Last Chance Qualifier

KUTZTOWN, Pa. – West Chester's Joe Adeghibe (Collegeville, Pa. / Perkiomen Valley) took home first place in the long jump, leaping 22 feet, 4.25 inches at the KU Last Chance Qualifier inside O'Pake Field House on Saturday. In addition to Adeghibe, there were several top finishes for the Golden Rams. Fr., Dylan Smiley registered third in the 3,000 meter with a time of 9:23.98. Coming in sixth 22 seconds later was Andrew Dombrowiecki (Ocean Township, NJ / Ocean Township). Claiming fifth in the 800 meter was Matt Eisenlord (Furlong, Pa. / Central Bucks East) by clocking in at 2:05.89. Jr., Ray Harris (Chester, Pa. / Cardinal O'Hara) came in fifth as well but in the 400-meter dash (53.00). Racing his way for a fourth place finish in the 200-meter dash at 23.69 was Derrick Clement (Deptford, NJ. / Deptford Township). West Chester's Evan Hodousek (Howell, NJ. / Howell) registered sixth in the pole vault with a leap of 12 feet, two inches. Lastly, Bryce Sadler (Marietta, Pa./Donegal) provided fourth in the shot put (48 feet, 8 inches) and sixth in the weight throw (49 feet, 3 inches). Next up for the Golden Rams is the PSAC indoor Championships, which will be held next Saturday inside Mike S. Zafirovski Dome in Edinboro, Pennsylvania.
