McLaughlin Receives ECAC’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week
Danbury, Conn. - West Chester's Caroline McLaughlin (Pottstown, Pa./Pope John Paul II) was named Corvias Women's Track Athlete of the Week by the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Wednesday afternoon. The junior rewrote the record book by breaking the school record in the 400-meter hurdles (1:01.88) this weekend as West Chester hosted the Golden Ram Invitational inside John A. Farrell Stadium. The record time provisionally qualified her for the NCAAs. McLaughlin's second top place finish of the day came in the 100-meter hurdles (15:31). This was her first ECAC honor of the season.
