Pickett Named ECAC’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week

Danbury, Conn. – West Chester's DeShaun Pickett (Philadelphia, Pa.) was named Corvias Men's Track Athlete of the Week by the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Wednesday afternoon. The junior claimed the top spots in the 100 and 200-meter dash this weekend as West Chester hosted the Golden Ram Invitational inside John A. Farrell Stadium. Pickett clocked in a time of 10.72 seconds in the 100-meter, while posting a 21.67 in the 200-meter dash. This was his first ECAC honor of the season.
