Fisher Named PSAC Co-Pitcher of the Week

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – So., RHP Jon Fisher (2-1) (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth-Whitemarsh) was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Co-Pitcher of the Week alongside Millersville's Eli Nabholz this afternoon. Fisher tossed a five hit, complete-game shutout to top host Shippensburg by a final score of 1-0 on Saturday. The sophomore went seven strong innings while fanning seven batters and only allowing one walk. So far this season, the right-hander has compiled a team-high 28 innings with a 0.64 earn run average. Opponents are only batting .204 against him. Additionally, he has produced a 32-7 strikeout-to-walk ratio. This is the first honor for West Chester as well as Fisher this season.
