Gursay Garners ECAC DII Field Athlete Of The Week Honors

DANBURY, Conn. – Jr., D'Andrew Gursay (Levittown, Pa./Conwell-Egan) added an Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Field Athlete of the Week for Division II to his resume after competing in the 34th Millersville Metrics on Saturday. Gursay registered his second first-place honor of the spring with a win in the long jump on Saturday. The junior received the top spot with a leap of 21 feet, 5 1/4 inches. At the Golden Rams Invitational on March 25, he took the top spot in the triple jump by leaping 45 feet, 8.5 inches. This is West Chester's second honor of the spring from the ECAC. Last week, teammate DeShaun Pickett received the ECAC's Track Athlete of the Week.
