Jarmuz Gathers ECAC’s Baseball Player of the Week

DANBURY, Conn. - So., OF Drew Jarmuz (Kennett Square, Pa./Unionville) gathered Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Baseball Player of the Week for Division II as he gave West Chester a lift as the squad took three games from PSAC East rival Millersville.

This weekend, he registered a .538 batting average for the Golden Rams. Jarmuz produced seven RBIs to go along with seven runs scored.

The sophomore accounted for three doubles and a homerun while also chipping in a stolen base. On Sunday, he contributed toward West Chester's 22 runs in a pair of games.

Jarmuz's bat provided a spark that broke Millersville's streak of not losing a series to a PSAC East opponent that dated back to 2012.

This is the first honor for Jarmuz this season.
