Cifelli’s Record-Setting Performance Lands her PSAC & ECAC Honors

DANBURY, Conn. - West Chester University senior attacker Dina Cifelli (Robbinsville, N.J./Notre Dame) captured Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Offensive Player of the Week in addition to being named Co-Lacrosse Player of the Week by the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) for breaking the PSAC record for career assists this week. Cifelli earned the conference honor alongside IUP's Hannah Bertolo. In a 27-8 victory over host Shippensburg, Cifelli provided a career-high 12 points, including a career-best eight helpers to capture the record. The previous conference record was held by Indiana (Pa.) Amy Weinberg with 205 assists. She followed that performance by lifting West Chester over Seton Hill by a final score of 14-7. She tallied five points, including four assists as well as a goal. Cifelli helped West Chester win the pair of games and finished the week with 17 points (5 goals, 12 assists). She is currently slated her fourth all-time in NCAA Division II history at 214. This is the first award for Cifelli this season and the second for West Chester with the previous winner being Ashley Pyle. NCAA Division II Career Assists
