Norman Scores PSAC Co-Field Athlete of the Week
LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – West Chester's Justus Norman (Lancaster, Pa. / Conestoga Valley) produced Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Co-Field Athlete of the Week with the other honoree being Slippery Rock's Caleb Smithco. Norman has now won the long jump in back-to-back weeks, after registering the top spot at the Widener Invitational on Saturday. The junior leaped his way for a first-place at 22 feet, 11.25 inches. He also obtained second in the triple jump (46 feet, .75 inches). This is the first PSAC award for Norman and the Golden Rams this spring. Overall, West Chester has gathered one PSAC award to go along with five ECAC honors. The other winners from the ECAC includes Norman, DeShaun Pickett (twice), D'Andrew Gursay, and Chris Mallee.
